Bin Luo

About Me

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) under the supervision of Choh-Ming Li Chair Professor John C.S. Lui (ACM Fellow, IEEE Fellow) in Hong Kong. I am also a member of Advanced Networking and System Research Laboratory (ANSR Lab) led by Professor John C.S. Lui. My current research focuses on the theory of quantum algorithms and quantum query complexity, with applications to stochastic optimization, reinforcement learning, and quantum networks.

Prior to joining the Ph.D. program, I received my bachelor’s degree in June 2023 from the School of Mathematics at Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU), majoring in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.
